Leather colors and types

We offer a wide range of leather types and colors to suit your personal style and preferences, ensuring you can find the perfect material for your unique accessory. Many of our leather items can be customized with different color combinations, allowing you to mix and match tones for a truly personalized look. Whether you prefer a monochromatic design or want to add a pop of color with contrasting edges or stitching, we provide numerous options to create an accessory that stands out.

Waxed Leather  

This leather is treated with a special wax that gives it a rich, polished finish and enhances its durability. Waxed leather is known for its pull-up effect, where the color lightens on bends and folds, giving it a dynamic and lived-in appearance. It develops a beautiful patina over time, making each piece more attractive with wear.  

Full grain vegetable-tanned leather  

Vegetable-tanned leather is known for its eco-friendly tanning process using natural plant tannins. The leather has a gull grain surface and is available in a variety of finishes, from matte to glossy. It’s also one of the most durable types of leather, known for aging gracefully and developing a rich patina that tells the story of its use.

Thread colors and stitching styles

When it comes to crafting leather goods, the choice of thread colors and stitching styles plays a crucial role in the overall aesthetic and durability of the product.  

Classic Saddle Stitch

The saddle stitch is the gold standard in leatherwork, known for its unmatched strength and durability. Hand-stitched with two needles, this technique ensures that even if one thread breaks, the rest of the stitching remains intact. The saddle stitch not only provides exceptional durability but also gives your item a classic, handcrafted appearance. It’s ideal for items that need to withstand heavy use, such as wallets, bags, or belts. 

Slanted French Stitch  

For those who appreciate elegance and precision, the slanted French stitch is an excellent choice. While the French stitch still offers good durability, it’s primarily chosen for its aesthetic value, adding a touch of elegance to smaller accessories like cardholders or key cases.  

Embossing and engraving

add a unique, personal touch to your leather item, making it truly your own. Whether you're looking to add your initials or prefer a clean, logo-free design, we offer customization options that cater to your preferences.

Option to make the item without our DMS logo

For those who prefer a minimalist and clean design, we offer the option to remove our logo entirely. This allows the natural beauty of the leather and craftsmanship to shine through, creating a timeless and understated aesthetic.

Engraving your initials

To give your item a truly personalized touch, you can have your initials engraved into the leather. This small detail makes the item uniquely yours and adds a sense of individuality to the design. 

Type of edge finishing

When crafting leather goods, special attention is given to edge finishing, which not only enhances the appearance of the product but also increases its durability. There are several options for edge finishing:

Polished with Tokonole and wax

This method involves using the Japanese product Tokonole, which smooths and seals the edge of the leather, giving it a refined and neat appearance. Afterward, the edges are coated with wax, adding a glossy finish and protecting them from moisture. Polished edges look very aesthetically pleasing and feel smooth to the touch, creating a professional and finished look.

Original, untreated edges

In this case, the edges of the product retain their natural texture and appearance. Original edges are ideal for those who appreciate the natural and authentic look of leather. They have a rougher appearance but preserve the raw beauty of the material, giving the product a vintage and rustic style.

For bags and backpacks, we offer customization of the straps and handles to suit your comfort and style preferences (length, width, and style)

Hardware

We offer a variety of hardware options, including different types of buttons (magnetic and classic) in various colors, as well as zippers, Chicago screws, buckles, and rings. All these details can be customized to your preferences and discussed prior to placing your order.

At the heart of my extraordinary accessories lies the vegetable tanning. Unlike the more common chrome tanning process, vegetable tanning uses natural extracts from plants, such as oak, chestnut, and hemlock. This labor-intensive method not only results in a distinct, earthy aroma but also imparts a rich patina to the leather over time, enhancing its character and uniqueness.


Vegetable-tanned leather possesses a remarkable ability to develop a unique patina as it ages. This natural aging process occurs through exposure to sunlight, air, and the oils from the hands of the owner. The result is a personalized accessory that not only withstands the test of time but also tells a tale of its journey and experiences.
